Poetry in Public Places

A group of poets reading/performing poetry in public places. This stop: Kennedy Plaza Providence, RI

There was a black mariposa who came in my house, and I must use who, since it is believe that black mariposas are dead relatives who come to visit you. It freaked me the fuck out. I wanted to run away from it but my aunt wanted me to kill it. So I grabbed my chancletas and started running after the butterfly, but then I dropped the chancletas because the mariposa started fluttering towards me only to be hit by the chancletas for dropping them in the first place. Welcome home.
Killer time at Roots Cafe poetry night!
